I approached this quesabirria with the seriousness one should reserve for a meal capable of changing the trajectory of one’s life. Unfortunately, my trajectory remained unchanged. The quesabirria is… fine. The meat is there. The cheese is there. The consommé is there. Everything has shown up for work, but nobody is exactly going above and beyond. Flavor-wise, it feels like the quesabirria equivalent of a firm handshake. Technically pleasant, completely acceptable, and immediately forgotten. There’s no dramatic explosion of flavor. No moment where you stop chewing, stare into the distance, and wonder if you’ve just discovered something greater than yourself. It simply exists, gets the job done, and sends you on your way.I approached this quesabirria with the seriousness one should reserve for a meal capable of changing the trajectory of one’s life. 🌮 Taco Bill's response
Well put. This gives me a really solid emotional connection which sets the tone for an eventual visit. The 6.4 score says Rey's is a "safe harbor" if I'm in the area. Much appreciated! Our quest for the next holy grail continues! :-)
